Our Schönruh Hotel is located in the small village of Ehrwald at the foot of the spectacular Wetterstein mountain range with the towering summit of the Zugspitze. 

The perfect destination for a varied holiday: Simply catch the modern Tiroler Zuspitzbahn cable car up to the stunning panorama terrace and the hiking region around the summit of the Zugspitze. The Ehrwalder Alm gondola brings you up to traditional mountain huts and many more hiking paths, for instance leading to the Igelsee lake, the Seebensee lake or the Coburger hut.

In winter the lush hiking region transforms into a beautiful winter wonderland ideal for winter hikes and cross-country skiing.
